    Tps adjustment

What is the proper way to adjust my tps? Motor is a 2000 ox66 225. Just wanting to make sure everything is set correctly. Motor running? Motor off? Disconnect the throttle cable and oil linkage rod to make sure butterflys are fully closed. Should be around .6 vdc at idle position correct? My voltage going in is 4.75v.

Also can I not just make a harness out of wire jumpers? Wire for wire from each plug with a a jumper on pink and orange to get reading from?

Does anyone have a tps harness they want to get rid of? Or borrow? I'll pay to even borrow it

Just buy one, a whole $40 from SIMM.

Disconnect top two butterfly linkages, release idle screw counting number of turns to come off seat, hook up harness and probe pink and orange wires with key on. Should be .48-.52vdc. Adjust if necessary. Hook linkage back up, rotate throttle a few times and recheck.

Got all my butterflys adjusted. Only reason I wanted to buy or borrow was to get it quicker. Need it asap

Just use a couple of sharp paper clips pushed into the connector. Clip your dvom on to them and your good to go. Cj
