    Old kill switch

I have an 1987 184 and I lost my kill switch cover here this last week does anyone know were I can find a replacement cap for it. It was a round cap with spring round it.similar to older jets skis. I have looked and looked can’t find anything to match it and really don’t wanna put a new kit in

It's just two wires probably easier to just up grade to a new model switch.

There are several on eBay, but you'll have to buy the whole whitch just to get the cap unless you can come up with a good part number. You'll have better luck getting that off the Mercury forum than here.

I have this kill switch similar to the suzuki model. It's normally open, so you can pull the tether or push the button and it will kill the motor by closing the circuit.
