Is anybody actually using either one of these products. I would like to know if this is a viable option compared to replacing the carpet on my trailer bunks. Any reply's would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

I have had GatorBak on my trailer for a couple of years and I love them. Never going back to carpet!
1998 Gambler Outlaw with a 2019 Suzuki 200SS, Ultrex Trolling motor with 360 imaging, two Helix 10's at the bow and two Helix 10's at the helm, and a custom Amera Trail trailer with Gator-Bak bunks on it!
Gatorback for 3 years and no major problems.
I have had the Tie Down kit (with the 4 four foot long sections) on two trailers and have been very pleased with them. They are pretty slick so I never unhook my winch strap till I get partially in the water. I am sure the Gatorbacks are better, but my solution only cost around $60 plus some deck type screws. I screw the covers into the bunks on the sides. This leaves no screw heads on top. I just ordered a new Load Rite galvanized trailer and I ordered it with their oem slick bunk covers. it will be interesting to see how they work.
Got gatorbaks on mine and so far I like em a lot. Ain’t had any issues with em marring the hull. No more carpet for me.
Gatorbaks installed last winter, no problems so far, and halted my micro blistering that was starting to develop. I'm happy.

I want to personally thank everyone for your reply's. Just as soon as our weather breaks I will be ordering the Gatorbak to install on my trailer.

x2- power loading means many things. For some guys running a boat up on shallow dry bunks using 5000 rpm. I would imagine this would kill the gatorbacks quickly and it killed my carpet.
I really just idle my boat up and kill the motor. I crank it up by hand the last 18 inches. last month I loaded in a narrow canal with a cross wind. Some guy came up and asked how I loaded so easy. Gatorbacks with a little silicone coating and a bit of know-how is the answer

I have used the Tie Down bunk slicks on my last two boats. These are the ones that are 16" long/10 per package. They screw to the top of the bunks with supplied stainless screws. They work great.
