    Seat decal replacement

Replacing the seat decal on the front of my passenger seat.

I cant seem to find an adhesive backing for the back of this decal?

Anybody replaced these? Do they iron on somehow?

They are iron/heat transfer. Where did you find them, C & O?

I got it off eBay. How do they iron on? I feel like an iron would melt the plastic.

Would a heat gun be better?

I just watched a YouTube video on heat transfer vinyl and got it figured out now I believe.

    Thanks for the help.

I used a heat gun when I replaced my originals. Just don't get it too hot or it will melt the seat vinyl.

I got mine from C&O Marine and that was the instructions they sent to me. I followed them to the letter and the decals have been on for 3 years.

wouldn't the bags melt? I think maybe put a towel over it...just go back and forth and dont stay in one place to long.

Or maybe get some 3m double sided tape...

Could you just heat up the backside of the decal with a heat gun then set it in place? Afterwards put a towel over it a put the iron on it maybe. I'm about to order some myself and this is what I was thinking.

I’m pretty sure he means paper bags, it’s a similar process for hit laminating or iron tee shirt transfers

So I'm confused now, is it plastic grocery bags or a brown paper type grocery bag?

Planning on doing it this evening.

I replaced my old Triton's seat decals years ago. I did get them from C&O and they came with instructions. My wife narrowed a craft heat gun from a coworker and it workered perfectly. No need for an iron.
