    Echomap 73sv

Doe anyone have the transducer mounted on trolling motor? Everytime i hit the trolling motor the screen goes nuts, when i let off it works fine. Seems i am getting interference from the trolling motor running.

My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.

What type of tm? It seems the digital ones have more issues with this.
I have a 73sv plus, with a cv52 on the tm. I haven't noticed any problems yet. It also came with ferrite core / choke. I have a non digital tm.

The HB ferite ring is too small for the big Garmin transducer plug to go thru.

Had the same problem on HB598SI and an old MK. I did everything except install a choke. Finally moved the ducer to transom.
Speed cost money. How fast ya wanna go? I have done so much for so long with so little. I can now do the impossible with nothing!

I have the 73DV transducer on my Fortrex. Mine does the same thing. I had to set the interference setting to High and most of it went away.
