2006 294 Pro XL with an Ultrex

Anyone running an Ultrex in their 294 and if so what shaft length did you get? I purchased a 45” and it’s backordered for about 6 more weeks so I’ve been having second thoughts. I love to fish offshore but don’t venture to the Great Lakes but once or twice year. Based on what I’ve seen I still feel like it’s the right decision but looking for some help.

    Put a 45" 80 lb. On my 2005 294! Work's great on KY lake.

Well if you are good on Kentucky Lake then I’m happy with my decision. Been out there a time or two when she got a little rough. Thanks for the feedback.
