Thinking of all you guys and gals in SC and NC. Please be careful and if you need to leave, then do it. Down here in Florida our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Does anyone know how the storm is effecting Lake Norman if any? Being that we are traveling from Florida in a couple of weeks we wanted to make sure the tournament is still a go with all you have had to deal with the last few days. We hope all is well and every one is safe.

Still looks good as of now. I'll wait for Andy to say for sure but everything should be good to go.

Everything upstream of Norman looks good, all these lakes are very well controlled and the rain in the west was no where near what we got here in the central. the last week did set me back a little on my plans but for the first time in 5 days the sun is shinning and the power is back on so I will be back on track in a day or 2.
Norman will settle down quick. All is a go and Im looking forward to a fun time.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. We are looking forward to the trip and meeting everyone. We lost power last year with Irma for 7 days. Our dang house was shaking with the eye wall hitting us. Bought new underwear right after!! Didn't help when the neighbor's barn roof flew through the power lines then rolled right down the fence in our front pasture. Cleanup is the hardest. I just hope everyone is safe up there.

Mike you can map search pinnicale landing, or queens landing, there are two public no cost ramps right there on either side of the street. They are along hwy 150 and will put you in the middle of the lake. Depending on where you want to fish, there are two more ramps on the south end I would recommend. One is blythe public ramp at the very bottom. And another ramp some what below Denver nc, called Beattys ford park. I fish out of that one often, and theres a tackle shop near it that might lend you some direction on where to fish. Good luck!
