    MercMonitor Install

Quick question Don, on the external power supply harness pigtail, you said to wire that to a switch. Will the only function of turning that switch on be to supply power to the nmea2000 network? I don’t have a nmea network hooked up for the time being and it seems that everything with the mercmonitor is working how it should and it powers up when I turn on my key. Turning the switch on or off has no effect on the gauge whatsoever, just wanted to make sure I didn’t mess something up! Thanks!
