I would rather spend a few hours at Susquehanna Fishing Tackle. When I gave up hunting, I gave up the show.

With Oaks gone are there any other shows besides Harrisburg? Wacky Worm sale starts 2/24, other than that not a lot going on this winter.

I loved going to the oaks show. They had a lot in there for the size of the place.

Here is the BEST show I have ever been to: http://www.sportshows.com/suffern/

I used to go ever year but now I can't walk that much so I dont go. They have EVERYTHING at great prices. If you can, make this show. The Pros are friendly and will talk with you.

I used to go toe the NY show as well....was always a nice show. Anyone know why no Oaks show? Seemed like the turnout was always pretty good.
I'll definitely be at Wacky Worm and SFT.

I think the Oaks show went the way of the Ft. Washington Expo show, got too expensive for vendors to get spots there. Pokie I think you're right, I went to Sufferin once and just didn't have enough time to get through and buy at the whole show. May try again.

My Uncle had a stand there for a few years, Galada's Taxidermy with the Boa wrapped around the Gator and the Unicorn, said that it had smething to do with their being a boat sow the fllowing week of the outdoor show. How true that is....IDK

we used to have a booth there for a few years great show, geared towards fishing mostly. I miss going honestly but after the first 2 days i used to loose my voice from talking to so many people. Were so busy now we cant afford to take the time to go with setup and takedown, and then be flooded with work just following the show.
