    2007 20i steering question

Has a 250 HDMI. If you're sitting still the steering is nice and smooth. If you're trimmed up running a decent speed it feels like it has a hard spot either way you turn. Anyone had this trouble before?

Might need to bleed your lines. Sitting still, turn all the way either direction and force it past the stop. If it's easy, you've got air in the lines.

Any slack side to side movement in the engine with the boat on the trailer?

I have a 2006 with the same with a 250 HPDI, and am having the same issues. Is there instructions anywhere on bleeding the lines?

You'll need to remove your dash panel to reach the fill port on the steering pump.
You can do a search for hydraulic oil. Mine had power steering fluid in it. I replaced with hydraulic jack oil with easy fill bottles. The brand name hydraulic oils (boat specific) are pretty pricey. Tip: A standard threaded air hose barb will thread into the steering pump for easy attachment of the clear plastic hose (available at Lowes/Home Depot)

Good call, my 06 20i seems like it gets a hard spot sometimes where it takes both hands gripped hard to turn. Looks like it needs a bleed.

The earlier models did not have the access below the windshield.
It would be a simple matter to add an access port.
