    building a boat

    how long does it have to sit in the mold before you can take it out?

    That mostly depends on how hot the resin was. If the glass is hard to the touch and you can't really bend an edge you are most likely good to go. Did you wax the mold? apply Gelcoat first? You do NOT want to remove it if it is soft at all. I have resins that will be hard in about 10 minutes and others that will take a day minimum.

    6 hours is just fine with most glass and resin mixtures the chargers dit overnight or about 12 hours before they are pulled

    ok Robert about how long does it take to lay up a hull in a mold?

    I know if it is pulled too soon it looks wavy.

    from start to finish on a hull its paint time glass time stringer,boxes,floor,and foam it takes 4 days a deck takes a bit over two days

    Robert do you paint and lay the hull, then pull it the next morning form the mold?

    it takes two days to paint a hull,then you first skin it ,then you second skin it and put the roveing in,them you put in the transom,stringer,floor,and foam boxes then its pulled after foam is put in

    no secrets there lol besides im sure ranger and vexus have enough on there minds and dont worrie much about little ole me
