I am not sure how it would be on your boat/motor combination but on my XB2003 with a 200 Promax, 225X and Merc 280, a 23 Trophy was an EXCELLENT ski and tubing prop, better than a High 5 or many other props I had tried.

I had a 26 and 27 trophy plus that came with my boat. Hated them. Horrible hole shot with 1.62 gears and horrible steering torque with my cable steering. I will likely buy a 22 Bravo xs for my tubing prop.

Always interesting to read of the differences between the XB2003 model and the 21 footers. I had no steering torque with either cable or hydraulic steering on my XB2003 with the 23 Trophy. In addition, I have on different occasions, pulled a 225 lb. man up barefoot skiing from a deep water start, 3 people on a very large tube, and 2 slalom skiiers up at the same time. I did all of this with an EXTREMELY GOOD holeshot, much better than most boats do without attempting to pull anything behind the boat.

I have a 24 bravo 1 I am trying to sell so I can buy the 22 bravo xs. No pvs but some guys are saying their boats love that. If I cant sell it I will have to send it off and get the pvs holes put in it.
