I replaced one of mine about a year ago. I was nervous about cutting it off the spindle but it worked out well. I used the Dremel with a metal cutting blade. The first sleeve I ordered was just a hair too big so I had to reorder the correct size. They were very close to each other so measure carefully.

This is were I ordered mine from... http://www.trailerpartsdepot.com/p-2...own-17293.aspx . They were very helpful in correcting my mistake.
    Don't worry Ma'am....
