    Lake Monticello

Is there any lodging accommodations on the lake, i.e., resorts, cabins, etc. I know there is camping facilities but what do ya'll recommend for lodging? Thanks in advance!

I thought I would be on Easy Street by now but somehow I missed the off ramp!

There are camping facilities at Monticello. There are cabins at Bob Sandlin and Cypress Springs. I like Best Western in Mt. Pleasant. Are you aware that the power plant at Monticello permanently went offline 1/1/18? The lake level has been dropped to complete the shutdown. I haven't seen so many visible stumps on that lake since the 1980s.

Lake is about 3' low and accessing the boat dock is a challenge plus water temps was in the 40's last week.

Nothing special, I suspect. Much less pressure though.
