I was looking for new trolling motor batteries and ran across some Duracells that I can get a good price on. Are these good and reliable batteries? I can honestly say I have never seen Duracell batteries for boats. Thanks

I run one for the staring battery but that's it and it has been solid.
I just bought two Duracell 31 series agm batteries for my boats trolling motor. I’ve heard good things about them and besides, for the price and warranty they are hard to beat.
Have 3 Duracell 31agm running my trolling motor for three years so far so good.

Before you buy them check Sam's club if you have one, for the price.
I purchased mine from Sams, if I recall correctly around 180 each.

Duracell = Deka with a different sticker and lower price tag. They're made by East Penn and are excellent.
I run 3 group 31 wet cells for my trolling motor and one of the group 31 commerical ones as my cranking battery. They work quite well!

I have two group 31 agm , I've had for four years now, great batteries for the price. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again
THE MORE YOU SAY THE MORE WE UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT YOU ANYWAYS
Great batteries. Ive always used the group 31 deep cycles and have never had a problem. The Duracells that came with my boat when I got it were 7 years old and still worked fine when I got them.

Anyone with experience with the BPS XPS Power Series? On sale from $185 to $110.
Another Deka with different stickers. *Most* batteries are either made by East Penn or Johnson Controls. East Penn = Deka.
If it's a wet cell, you can do better with the Sam's Club Duracells that would be the same battery - group 31 is $95, 27 is $80. Also make sure you're looking at deep cycle for wet cells.
If it's an AGM, depending on size, it would be a rebadged Deka Intimidator and that sounds like a pretty darn good price. Sam's has the group 31 AGMs for $180 regularly. Compare to a Deka Intimidator that runs $230.

Looking for the expert comments on this one. Specs seem strong. Exide Nautilus Marine, Wet Cell Group 31, Cold cranking amps at 0 F = 650, Cranking amps at 32 F = 830. Marine Cranking amps = 900. 115 Ampere Hours@20 hours. 205 min reserve capacity.
Looked at that Exide battery also but believe I will go with the Agm for not having to check water and warranty myself, but the Duracell agm and that battery specs are almost the same...
