Got it!!! Thanks for the link!! So there it is. I can post pictures of just the frame if you need but that should give you an idea of how it’s mounted. The box is intended to be just screwed to the floor for a half step up to the deck but it made a great addition to the deck with some actual dry storage

Now that i like, how wide is the box? If you don't mind me asking was that ordered from xpress, and what was the cost?
The box is 38” wide. They are intended to mount directly to the floor . I ordered from xpress through my dealer. Make sure if you go this route to specify your boat model as they are all different widths between the rod boxes. Found this out after trying to put one in out of an h20 that the dealer already had in stock and it wouldn’t fit my h22. On price it wasn’t cheap. 375 is what I paid but I wanted it to match my year old boat so I paid what I considered a premium to get what I wanted. Very happy with how it turned out.
375 aint bad for an aluminum box that size with a latch and paint. I think you did good.
I completely agree. No different than buying a toolbox for a truck plus this ones painted. Completely worth it in my opinion
