From November thru April, I fish it quite a bit. Lately the cold fronts and wind have played havoc with it.... January has been slow.....February....who knows??? It just depends on when the cold fronts stop coming through....and when the wind stops blowing some.

Wow glad to hear Jim is still out there fishing, haven't heard from him for some time. You can always catch fish down in the grass and in the back lot, some days better than other. The water clarity is horrible like always, probably time for FWC to nuke it again.

Pretty slow for us only 5 fish, two on sinko's and the other 3 on shinners. fished from 9 to 3:30, stump field south side, went into pump station on SE side saw 10 boats in there stayed about 1 hour and saw one fish caught. Back to Dallas in the morning. Have a great season.

Just go back. wind was whiping, water was dirty. Fishing was tough unless you used shiners. We did ok but no giants. Cool place to check out if you've never been.
