    GelCoat Spray Gun

    Anybody know what kind of Harbor Freight gun I need to spray gelcoat?

    The HF gun tips do not work well. Call Express Composites in MN, 612-789-8621, . They sell a very good gun for around $99 with a 2.3mm tip. Tell them Allan from Aqua-Stitch sent you.

    Are you trying to spray a large area ??? Ive use a primer gun from HF with success. Re-coated about 2/3 of the bow of a baja hammer years ago. I probably wouldnt use it for a whole boat or anything.

    +1 On US Composites ....i get all of my Fiber Glass cloth and mat and Expoxy Resin from them . For a soft spot around the floor drain and trolling motor pan .

    ATD makes nice inexpensive guns in a 3 gun kit, buy an extra 2.3 tip for one of the gun or buy a 2.7 and then you have an extra gun, i have used these for some excellent automotive paint jobs,
