Rummor of new Ducer coming out for Humminbird

Actually I'm using Helix 5 Si 1Gen and Lakemaster Autochart Pro. I saw .dat files from Helix 1O MEGA and DI channel not working (or I can't use B0004 file ) with LAP. After last updade LAP have correction data mode and i'ts possible to reprocessed depth data which are not accuracy originally(on soft bottom original depth line is 2-5ft below true bottom line) My firends who used AC live and check records on LAP told me that exist some mistakes with depth (maybe problem is with transducer mount)
DI data is very usefull, bottom line is very chrisp and any manual drawing data is much easier. I'm using Reefmaster software too, manual drawing true bottom line, export this file as .csv and using in LAP

The SI is a lower freq. than the MDI is - so that makes a a difference also (when comparing SI to DI).

FishID doesn't work properly at all since the last update. Don't know how it does with the Dual Spectrum frequency, I had it tuned off to see how it did arches.
I will test that tomorrow.

I haven't update unit since last fall. I really don't want to either right now but, new transducer should arrive tomorrow.

Yes, that was part of the 3.110 update.

The basemap is a separate ZIP download file. It has six files in it that total over 5GB. You don't have to install it.

Soli 10 at the bow: Can you run 360 & lowQ transducer on a Y cable? I already have Solix SI at the helm/Transom and would LOVE the combo of 360 set to 200deg or so (top 1/2 of screen) and sonar and DI on the bottom half (like you had with the SI).

I think for me, that would be the ultimate setup with what is available.

No, 360 is Ethernet (connects to the Ethernet port), and the Dual Spectrum DI transducer connects to the display's transducer port.

If you want to use the Dual Spectrum Sonar with the SI transducer, that is what you use the Y cable for connected to the transducer port.

I can live with that temporarily....but it needs to be fixed. Are you using it with Fish ID regularly & doing the mental translation?

I rarely pay attention to the depth numbers, just the icon positions in the water column.

I don’t have the transducer yet. I’m also not interested in hooks. This will be installed on the bow, not the stern. I don’t want it for scanning I want low q for vertical fishing. If it allows me to see fish belly to the bottom and inside of brush like my garmin did, then yes I’ll be happy
