    Padded front deck

Worth the additional cost on a new boat?

Although I've not fished from a boat with a padded deck, I just don't see how that would be a big deal. I've walked on the padded deck of a new Lynx, it was nice, but I surely didn't notice much difference. Of course, if it was a low cost option, then maybe it would be worth it. I've never had issues with standing on a regular deck.

ITs like standing on concrete all day next to a machine or a pad. You will notice the difference after a day on a boat with a padded front deck. The older you get the more you will like it.

It’s worth the little amount extra it costs, at least to me it is. It’s a cheap upgrade that adds a little bit of comfort.

But it’s not the entire deck right? Only by the TM and not on deck lids?

Ive never understood the carpet on bass boats period. If I ever custom ordered one, I would order it without the carpet.

Put it this way, it's not worth your time debating whether it's good or not compared to the overall price of the boat. This is new for BCB, I know at one time it was considered too much of a maintenance consideration. Also, the next person to buy your boat will ask, "does it have a padded deck?"

I like to dance. Helps with my jerkbait rhythm. Padded deck should help my bad knees.

I'm sure its nice. Only concern would be how long it takes to dry out. The bcb carpet is so thick that it takes like a week in my garage with a fan on it to dry completely lol

The foam BCB uses does not absorb water and is sealed.
