    Not a setup Question

I was just wondering how much more mph you get after the chine starts?

Depends on your setupSeriously, on my boat it starts at about 63-65. When I had a 225 Opti, I got about 8 MPH more. 250 Pro XS I got 15 MPH more. With current motor/setup up to 23 MPH more and still playing with it. I can drive it now but if I want, it will still walk at 63-65. It really is a boat factor more than what power.

Depends on the boats balance and other factors such as motor height.

Mine starts wanting to walk around 69 GPS. My top speed is 72 - 73 GPS. That's with a 2004 TR-20, 225 Regular Optimax, and a good load (full tank, my fat butt - 270 lbs, half of BPS and 1/4 of Tackle Warehouse).

The boat will go 70-72 when you learn how to drive it.

Think his boat hull has been coated (Gorilla Hull maybe) so he might not see the same top speeds as other similar boats, but it will def go faster than 62 with proper driving.

Never had a Triton that chine walks. Everyone says you drive through chine walk, the trick is to never let it start. The absolute worst time you can do is put the old death grip on the steering wheel. There are several you tube videos on driving boats. Hope that helps.
