I hung 2.5.. 200 on the back of my Sled & didn't have any Starting, Idle, Issues. Ran damn Good. It's going to use a lot of Fuel. I do No that :)

EFI was great when the motors were new.
Now your trusting electronics upwards (in some cases) of 30 years old, to not kill a piston?? Ecu, injectors, wiring, etc. A few seconds of malfunction/glitch = game over... Carb? Change fuel lines and filter once a year...?? Easy peasy...
I put carbs on my originally EFI 200. No issues for me. Idles rough. A snowflake who has never driven a,carb anything would think it's the devil...but I have ZERO issues with carbs. Runs great. Easy on fuel on my Champ at cruise. I won't say what mpg it gets at cruise, (nobody would believe it), but it rivals dfi mileage. Wot is a different story...
