Is there any freshwater bass waters near wellfleet that I can put my bass boat on? Taking a family trip out there this summer again and it kills me every time to go up there without a boat.

Mashpee Wakeby in Mashpee , Aschumet , Johns Pond in Falmouth all are about 1 hour away , Harwich is 40 minutes but not sure open during the summer

Theres a bunch of great water on the Cape you can drop a bass boat in on the Cape. Most of them have big brown & green ones. Long Pond Harwich would be the closest to Wellfleet, 5lb + smallies come out of there on a regular .

There is a ramp, but closed to the public memorial day to labor day.

mid-summer Mashpee, has a nice ramp. John's is tight, to get in at times, just went by a few minutes ago, and a pontoon trailer has it blocked! No one around either. Ashumet has a nice ramp, but there is only 3 bass in that pond.

By the way no bass boats out today! two little V hulls trolling on ashumet. Had to do a road check on the Excursion, new pads rotors, hoses and brake lines. should have been fishing, it's beautiful out.

Nice!! What are you catching them on? Weather looks good for Sunday, I'm going to do whatever it takes to get out fishing somewhere dammit.

Nice fish! Did you catch those down the Cape, or did you find open water somewhere else?
