    Earl Bentz resigned?!?

I heard from some dealers that he sent out his resignation letter this week. Has anybody else heard this?

if Earl retired good for him he has been in the business for many years and deserves to hunt and fish as he pleases
    it's all Johnny Morris's fault

I don’t believe he retired. He resigned. I heard that Bass Pro wanted him to stay so they could put his name on the side of the boat but have nothing to do with the day to day business.. Ole John L destroying another boat company.

I was told this by one of the Triton Pros yesterday at the East TN fishing Show in Knoxville

Congrats to Earl, he has put his time in over the years and a real tribute to the bass fishing industry.

I hope he finds another project to work on. Would be a shame to lose his drive and intellect. There’s plenty of time in between brainstorms and projects to hunt and fish..

With Earl gone, no one may have any reasons to continue. He was always at everyone of the events. The one here on KY Lake has went on for years now. Paris TN will miss that money.

It is true, he has retired. Could have stayed, collected a paycheck, and just been a figure head like Forrest, but he chose to just retire.

The owners tournament will continue, but Mr. B will not be there. He always enjoyed meeting all the anglers.

What is he destroying? Failed/failing boat brands?

John L isn't destroying shit. Triton is destroying themselves quickly enough by putting out JUNK and having terrible service.
