I completely understand the difference between a boat running good now and in the heat of summer. I think the 25.5 Bravo 1 xs might be perfect for this summer. It was pulling too many rpms in this cold weather. I’m just wanting 2 props that will work for either situation. I know they won’t both be perfect in different conditions.

Mark suggested the 26 Bravo 1xs. Phoenix recomended the 25 Fury 4. Trading for a Fury 4. I’ll post how it works out. Still looking for a 26 Bravo 1xs to try.

Personally I would never get a Bravo1 in any half size......Too much cup makes props slower.

That depends on the boat... Extra cup slows my boat down as it lifts good w/o.... Some boats and loads are faster with lot's of cup.

True, but boats like the OP's that run 2" or more below the pad with a Bravo1, will generally slow down. He's better off at full sizes with the B1.

I've been told that the 24, 24.5, 25, and 25.5 are the same prop with different cup. The 26 is a true size 26. The 25.5 worked great on my boat, but the rpm's were high. I think it will be fine in the summer. I ran it up to about 66 mph gps, but it was near 6200 rpm, so I backed off. I'll try it again this summer. I don't care about running 70 plus. I care about holeshot and handling.

It is true that the 24, 24.5, 25, and 25.5 are all the same prop.
