I know your frozen in (so am I) but when are you going to get to try out the flash? I would be interested what your numbers are! I just got a 27 T-1 to try when the water softens.

Yes! Kind of considering that boat myself. Should be able to REALLY see the difference with that boat. Can't wait to hear. I have a feeling you're going to be blown away at what you gain. Hang on and be careful.

Thinking about get flashed but a few questions. How are hours recorded off these motors? Was thinkIng about buying a new ECU and flashing it, keeping my current ECU stock. Are the hours recorded only on/through ECU?

Hours are recorded on the ECU. That being said. If you have say 120 hours on your factory ECU then unplug that and replace it with a new flashed ECU with 0 hours the new ECU will start counting its own hours. If you unplug the new flashed ECU and reinstall the old factory 120 hour ECU it will still read 120 hours.....

well if you have wayne flash it and leave the limiter stock you will have 300hp if you have wayne raise the limter up to 7,000 rpm you will have 354 hp at the crankshaft if you twist the motor up that high...

Ran my flashed Phoenix 20 PHX today...250 SHO with 25 T2 stock prop. Before the flash, best run was 74.2 at 6125 rpm...after flash, it is 77.4 at 6238 rpms.. runs were with 2 people, 3/4 to 1/2 tank of gas, full tourney load. I stepped out and filmed my buddy making a pass by himself...79.8 at 6286 rpm

Without re-propping the boat, the flash was good for a solid 3 mph gain... probably go to try a T1 26 and see how it does next..
