    Cleaning Micro Guides????

Hey BBC'ers - Just curious if anyone has some expertise in cleaning micro guides? I spotted something on the web about using hummingbird feeder brushes but these seem too big for my Duckett's.

You can rip some cotton off the end of a Q-tip and pull it through which does two things, cleans and will let you know if there are any burrs or cracks you have to address before you have a line fraying problem.

Use bulky knitting yarn and IPA. A skein of yarn is dirt cheap, and you can use it like floss to drag back and forth in the guides. Get a light color to tell when you're done cleaning.
