Verados just out right run. They can run thousands of hours and still have a lot of life left.

you would probably see more if the factories could rig the boat/engine combination. I understand it must be done by a dealer.

I have one on my Phoenix and love it

The new Ranger L is not allowed, some saying dealer can rig, I was told it can but Ranger wouldn’t ship a boat without a motor now. Other boat brands will rig one , several boats getting the Verado now. Ranger maybe waiting to rig the new motor ( if it’s true)

I counted 7 Verados out of 107 Elite anglers. Heck, there are 6 of them with Suzuki's, 2 Honda's, 4 Rudes, 28 SHO's and 60 Pro XS motors. So there are more Pro XS motors than all the others combined. What's even more interesting is there are only 14 pros running Motor-Guides.

Which probably has nothing to do with anything other than Mercury has a bigger budget for sponsoring pros... I bet they all would throw Zebco 33s and run a Briggs and Stratton motor if the deal was good enough.
