    Greenpond landing / Classic

    Just an update I was on the water saturday and the Anderson County Rec Department has had the Green Pond Landing shut down for some major improvements and it's all starting to take shape too big boat docks 10 foot wide 100 foot long enough to accommodate 50 boats 350 lineal feet of boat dock when it all comes togather ,and the upper parking lot has also been paved so there's no more gravel parking and alot more parking spots . It's all starting to take shape and the classic should have a nice event there .

    Yes. My dad and I will be going. He's always stayed behind to watch the farms, but he's getting to go this year. We're staying at one of the Holiday Inn Expresses in Anderson.

    They need a wave break like the one over at the sailboat club. It can get very rough with a strong SW wind coming up the lake. Good to hear of the new improvements going in!

    That dock is going to be huge! Very nice upgrade for large tourneys.

    How is the Lake Fishing after the last temp drop? Lanier is off, I think, because of the huge shad kill. Seems the fish are gorged with Shad in their guts. Water temps went from 52 to 45 in about 6-7 days.

    I remember they had great talent, but when I was there for the BASS Nation Championship I was REALLY disappointed in the Hooters. Most looked like trailer trash. :(
