    Favorite Tackle Shops?

What are some of your favorite Tackle Shops in your area? I am looking to visit more shops this year and see what different shops carry selection wise. For me shops I visit often and K&J Bait and Tackle, Ray's Bait and Tackle, and Fishing Fever.

You might want to drive down to Carolina fishing tackle in Mooresville

The great outdoors and the Carolina fishing tackle. I bet there’s not any stores in nc that compare to these 2.

tackle makers that advertise on FB. Find some good stuff and also name brand stuff at very low prices, but you have to look for them.

One's that I've been to are Aberdeen bait and tackle, Bobcat's, and Thomas's bait and tackle. Other's I want to go to would include dry pond, hunt fish paddle, Flemings candy co, Carolina tackle, and dave's tournament tackle

EZ Bait and Tackle in Goldsboro, by far the largest selection of Fishing stuff in NC. Everything you need for fresh or salt.

Fleming Candy Co in Salisbury. I know it sounds funny, but those thats been there can testify it is one awesome place for fishing tackle. Rods, Reels and tons of tackle and maybe a little candy. Couple of years ago I was buying reels there $20-$30 cheaper than anywhere else.

I do my best to support my local tackle shops... they may not have everything on the shelf but if time isn't critical they will get it for you. The Tackle Box in Fuquay always takes care of me when I need something. I also make it a point to shop at Outhouse Tackle near Falls when I get the opportunity. Bobcats in Clarksville VA near Kerr Lake is a good one. Vanco outdoor equipment in Henderson also had a pretty good tackle selection last time I went there.

Being in Greensboro, you should check out Flemings like posted above. Only about a 45 minute ride and they have very good prices and a good selection of stuff you don't see in the big box stores.

E-Z tackle in Goldsboro, NC has more stuff than the human brain can imagine, I believe they are the best stocked tackle store in the US , there is no way to tell it, just take a day and ride there ,, it is worth the trip, I know the owner told me once that he ordered rods by the thousand, and I bet he had at least that many on display. I have never seen nothing like it

Dry Pond for most of my regular tackle. Carolina Fishing Tackle for harder to find baits and anything Megabass. Fleming Candy for rods and reels.
