My Buddies new boat was rigged with an Ultrex

and he is happy with the decision. Brand new 21 foot boat, all the bells and whistles, whats not to like.
So we are on the water doing all the painful stuff, motor break-in, electronics set up, hole shot/jack plate dial in and now because the TM are smart, Ultrex set up.

For those of you who dont have an Ultrex it works like this, the remote that comes with the motor is the device you must use for the set.
Here is where I got sideways with this deal, the Ultrex remote came with rechargeable batteries, ok, but guess what they dont include, the cable needed to re-charge the batteries. This is a $2500 motor (aprox) and you have to spend extra mney on a cable?

It comes with a USB charging cable. Might be stashed somewhere. I would suggest contacting the dealer

You guys must have the i-pilot link model, because I have a brand new non-link Ultrex and it has conventional AAA batteries, not rechargeable. The Minn Kota website also shows that there is a difference between the link and non-link remotes.

Thanks for confirming, because I could not figure a way to charge the batteries on my Ultrex remote. As Roseanna’s dad said, it’s always something!

Mine came with usb charging cable and cigarette lighter style plug. Check with dealer if it's not in boat.
