    250hp On A 190ProV

Im running a 190 ProV with a 200hp Mercury at the time being. Ive been thinking about going up in hp to save fuel and run lower rpm's to get the same performance I get now. Ive gotta 200 Blackmax now and its carbed. The motor runs great and has 120psi on all cylinders. I know the boat is rated for a 200. Anyone ran this setup before?

Find you a low hour or just rebuilt 225 ProMax. It’s a fuel infected motor that puts out around 240hp but 100+lbs lighter than a new 225. That would be a sweet combo capable of mid to upper 80s.

If I remember right, someone in South LA was running a 190/225X combo years ago.

You won't be able to get insurance on the boat if they know you are over the max HP for the hull. And you might get disqualified in tournaments. Insurance companies can tell by model/serial numbers

Just get you a 200 SHO and get it flashed. That would be a fast ride!

This might be the easiest. I think the Blackmax mids are the same as the Promax. Then nothing changes as far as serial numbers on the motor.

Yep. Find a drop on power head. The motor numbers are in the clamp bracket so you’d be good.

Get on scream and fly and you'll see plenty of pro max motors. I might have another complete pro max for sale soon also.

There's a 190 on the owners list with a 350 sitting on the back of it
