Results of January NoAl tournament at Pickwick.....

The monthly NoAl tournament was held today on Pickwick out of McFarland Park. We ended up with a slim three-boat turnout but it turned out be an absolute GORGEOUS day with temps in the 60's and just a gentle breeze in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the water temps had taken a nosedive to the upper 30's as a result of the recent cold snap and the bass pretty much ended up with lockjaw. Out of three boats, we ended up with a SINGLE fish determining the winners which turned out to be David and me - a small barely legal spotted bass. We didn't even end up weighing it but I'm sure it must've only been just over a pound. Nothing to be proud of but, hey, a win is a win I suppose.

Hopefully the fishing will be much better next month with our next tournament being held on Wilson out of Fleet Harbor on the 17th of February, so look for a sign up thread in the next week or so.
