    Question JM carbonlite 2.0 rods

    has anyone tried the new Johnny Morris white carbonlite 2.0 rods yet? looking at medlite/fast or a med/mod action in 7'

    They look and feel awesome in the store. I've always had good luck out of bass pro rods.

    Just used my gift card to buy a 2.0 7' MH fast tip, now if the ice would thaw on the river. As much as the Carbonlites are bad mouthed by some rod elites, I have been using them for five years and have never had a problem with them. My other 7' MH Carbonlites run 4.2-4.4oz in weight and are easy on the old wrists. The new 2.0 weighs 4.5oz on the digital scale. None are micro guides. The grandson broke off a rod tip on one of his in his truck door and BPS gave him a new one.
