    Jackplate for 92 190 sc

I have a 92 190 sc. Going to have transom repaired\replaced and was thinking of adding a jackplate. Engine is a 2001 merc 200 efi with 25 temptus plus. What is a good choice for this setup??? Going to be limited to under 800 dollars as I am already dishing out for the transom. Thanks Jason

6" Rapid Jack if your steering cables are long enough. I'd recommend hydraulic steering, but that would blow your budget.

I have an 8" on mine and it performs well, I also like that I can mount my ducer to the bottom of an 8" with a hole shot plate. There are no screw holes anywhere in my transom and I like it that way.
