    Bullet Info

Back in the mid 80's I was fishing a lot around the Mobile , Millers Ferry, Seminole and other rivers and medium size lakes. The guys from Mobile were running those Bullet boats, I always thought they were 18 or 19 footers, they were fast and looked good. I am about to buy me another boat, kids are gone. I am not buying until mid-summer . I was thinking I wanted a 19 footer and I have looked at the Champion and Bass Cat. I have always like the bullet and Allison Boats. Do you guys happen to remember what most of those Mobile guys were running???? I guess they may have been 20 footers instead of 19 footers ,I really thought a 19 would be ideal for me although they seem to be slim pickings. What Bullet boat would be in the 15 to 25 k that you guys would consider. I would think the hull changed some, I have tried to search that info and a dead end. Could some of you Bullet boat guys chime in. Thanks Guys

20XD or a 20XRD. You could find a nice one in that range.

The 20ft Bullet is more like an 18 1/2ft boat if you deduct the rear wings that don't add any storage or carpet. The 20 is a much better boat for fishing than the 19ft Bullet in my opinion. I suggest you get the biggest one you can afford and store. The weight difference is nothing if you are worried about moving it around by hand.

Check with Brian Dodge , of Duck River Marine in Tennessee. He bought my 21XRD last October. He restores older bullets. At last count , he had sold over 100 used Bullets in last couple of years. He has some nice ones, once he is done with them. Mostly all in your price range too. 931 982 2189
