    Wifi password for my 840xs

I didn't write the password down and now need help. Can I just do a new password or what else can I do. I need to get better organized for sure.

Yes,thanks I was told just to create new name for network and password and that worked. Also for those interested, I was hooking up to 840xs wifi and it said no internet connection. it confused me, but then I realized that I was connected to my unit and not to my internet. When you go and connect, you pick the name of your network created and not your internet connection for the house, hope that makes sense

That's an adjustment that has to be made in using ActiveCaptain. Some functions rely on internet connectivity and some functions rely on unit connectivity. My phone won't do both at the same time. So it took me a little while to make the adjustment.
My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.

I appreciate you explaining that. I will have to see what needs the garmin wifi and what needs the internet. I am not sure how much I will use Active Captain.

I have been working on other things with the 840xs, I can see later tonight and let you know for sure. I am pretty sure it does. But will double check this evening

8x0/10x0 units are not compatible with ActiveCaptain
