    Not yet my weekend to work but monday I will but from what I am reading it looks like a good update for onix owners, just when I thought it was the end for the onix humminbird does it again.

    My ONIX accounts do not have the new software, just a description of what it will be by the end of the month.

    My software description has this at the top of it:

    "Description:
    CODE FOR 3.110 WILL BE ADDED BY JANUARY 31, 2018. Below are the changes for version 3.110"

    Yesterday the Download button gave me 3.04 which was good because I didn't have it and it's required to install 3.11

    Also on the base map, is that going to be a sd card like other map cards and separate from the unit or is it installed in unit memory

    Basemap installs in the unit's memory AFTER you install the unit software.

    The Helix units got the Humminbird Basemap last Spring.

    The software descriptions are the same except for the FishSmart Bluetooth update capablility with the SOLIX.

    Ever since the SOLIX was released, the ONIX has been kept parallel with it where it can be.

    I know, apparently everyone loves there ONIX because before Christmas I was looking to buy another one for the front of my boat but could not find one for sale anywhere, only thing I could find were lots of lowrances. There would be 6 or 7 lowrances then one humminbird then 5 or more lows then another bird, but no ONIX, just started seeing a few after first of year, if I could all three of mine would be ONIX. Anyway I haven't tried to download 3.11 yet, just got off work and go back at 4 am, I may try it real quick to see if so I will post yea or nea

    If the description in your account has what I put in post #6, you won't have the new software yet.

    Neither ONIX I have registered has the new software and both have that statement.

    Nevermind I think it is the 3.04, but it had unified firmware on all and the list is 3.04, , as-360-r2.30.upd, I-pilot-link-30 etc., two more i pilots, then three sm 1000, 2000, 3000. Does this sound right
