Looking for some advice on lodging near the Goose Pond area. Coming down for a week in March. Thanks in advance!

Check motels in Scottsboro. Stayed there when fishing a Federation Tournament before.

We launched and weighed in at Goose Pond.

Goose pond has cabins/chalets they rent, and they have piers for each one. Otherwise it's Scottsboro.

Goosepond Colony is where i have stayed for 13 years straight. Love it and love the Docks for food and entertainment. Best food i have ever ate.

Margarita Mexican grill pretty solid. Bait wise traps, arig, swimjig usually get the job done

The Hampton Inn in Scottsboro would be my recommendation. Clean rooms and the rear parking lot is set up well for fisherman, electrical outlets and plenty of parking space. The Hampton is about a 10 minute drive from GP and an absolute steal if you have have travel points with a Hilton hotel. It is only 10,000 points per night. You can walk to several restaurants and there is a WalMart next door as well.
