Can we just make California it's own country?

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra warned employers Thursday of legal repercussions if they assist federal immigration officials in an impending crackdown in the sanctuary state, The Sacramento Bee reported.

California contributes 13% of the total US economy. Wouldn't be prudent.

Yes, them abused chickens have to be able to stand and spin in their cages. Don't forget the ability to break someone's window if you think their pet is in distress.

The state of California is threatening to prosecute employers should they assist federal law enforcement in upholding the law. Show me the positive.

State just has a few tumors. San Francisco, LA, etc. Just cut those out. Lots of good folks elsewhere in state.

Votes simple as that ... oddly some people only want to enforce laws they agree with .. let’s just not enforce anything and let the country go crazy

Let the border wall turn north at the Eastern California line.

It's funny when people from the "welfare" states complain about an economically viable state...

As long as it is "we the people" who are making the decisions. Isn't that how it is suppose to function?

Maybe somebody can explain why an individual city, or state for that matter, can defy federal law on the sanctuary issue. Never have understood that. If there are no repercussions to breaking the law, why do we follow anything the fed requires??

I'm all for states rights, but immigration is not is not one of them. That's a Federal issue. I know it's confusing since the state assists the Border Patrol here in TX and Houston is an illegal sanctuary city ...
