There are reports this battery does not have the cranking amperage to start certain outboards. I only have a 4 stroke 175 HP, it serves me well as a cranking/accessory battery. 3+ years.
I ran one on my 250 Pro/XS for 3 years and it never had a problem starting or running the livewells, powerpoles, HDS12 and HDS9. It is does meet the minimum cranking requirements for the big Optimaxs but it has a very high reserve capacity. Only reason I replaced it was because Batteries and Bulbs had this one on sale.... https://www.batteriesplus.com/battery/marine-and-boat/starting/bci-group-31m/sli31agmdpm

I used one for 2 years as the cranking battery for my 250 Opti and it petered out this winter. Replaced it with the big boy from Batterys and bulbs and all is well now.
Not surprising at all. An Opti requires 800 ccas just to crank it. To allow for accessories like graphs, livewells, shallow water anchors, stereos, etc., it is recommended to exceed that by at least 150 ccas. The Duracell only has 800, so I would not expect long life from it. There are better and higher capacity batteries available if you have an Opti on your bass boat. Of course, you could take the approach that at half the price of some of the higher quality AGM's like the Northstar or Odyssey, then 2-3 years of life from the Duracell would be fine.
To the OP, if your Skeeter has an older Yamaha, like an HPDI, cca requirement is only 512. You would be fine with the Duracell. If you want the same PM 1 that you have, find an Odyssey dealer and get their 31M PC 2150 which is the identical battery that you now have.

Thanks guys
Exceptionally good for trolling motors. I wouldn't use on 250ProXs unless in a bind.
