    God help me....

Oldest daughter is 10, will be 11 in July, came in and started whispering to my wife. They leave the room, wife comes back in with that look on her face. I knew immediately, she has started her period. God help me!!!

Be thankful that your daughter is comfortable talking to her mom about stuff. When I was married with kids, everything was kept a secret from me.

My mother was one of four girls in her family. All within 4 years of age. Her father, my grandfather told me he would buy feminine hygiene products by the case.

My oldest is the same age, and I'm glad to hear I'm not alone in the struggle. The emotions are too much to handle! One crossed look from me or my wife and there's so much crying you'd think somebody died.

I was the only man in the house of 4 people. 2 female dogs & even had a female finch bird. Daughters wouldn't go to store to get their monthly supplies when needed....but dear ol dad ALWAYS did. I tried to fish every weekend I could but from Thanksgiving to April kept me landlocked. One salvation was boat shows....90 proof vodka....crack....your fun ain't EVEN started. And when they leave the nest....it'll break your heart. And yes she'll always be dads little girl.

I have a wife and a 14 year old girl and I'd prefer it this way. Leave me in the dark, please!

Ain't that the truth, plus you can smack a boy and not feel real bad about it.

Son has 3 daughters, 13, 11, and 8. The 13 year old has already come of age.
I to.d him the best he could hope for is that all the women in the house get on the same schedule at some point so he only has to stay gone fishing or hunting a week out of each month. Thank heaven they have a fully furnished loft above their garage where he can retreat and guard his position from above.

Two daughters 22 months apart that magically "sync up" when Aunt Flo hits town ... yay.
    Ranting incoherently
