Champion 193

Can anyone tell me about an older 193? Spec's, how compare to 198 etc. max power , etc.?

I currently own a 193. The 193 is a narrow body champion as compared to the wide body 198. 193 has a 200hp max rating. I love mine, rides well in rough water and still small enough to fish smaller lakes also. My biggest, maybe only complaint is its narrow between the consoles (if dual). I have seen 69mph gps out of mine on a cold morning 1/2 tank gas and my gear. Partner and full tourney load around 63-65.

I have never been in or owned a 198, but owned a 196 for a short time and have fished out of one several times (similar to the 198). 198 is rated for a 225hp I believe. I love the wide body setup and the storage and space between the consoles. IMO the narrow body rides a little better but the 198 would make up for that with space, etc. I'm sure others will chime in with exact specs and opinions, just my 2 cents.
