I use 3/8" black hair bands but have to double them up several times. Just cut the bands with dikes when ready.

Keeps your hooks tied together under crankbait and makes them much easier to store without tangling

I respect this level of OCD.
But, if it was me, somebody would have a limit in the boat before my 1st cast.

<$2 in the hair care section at Wally World.

And you don't have to wrap them around the hooks 20 times... Just snag one barb on the rear treble, stretch the band over two barbs of the front (and middle, if present), then up over the bill of the bait and you're done.

I'd have never found these on my own.
I'd have never even known there was a hair care section at Wal Mart

What type pliers are you using to put them on and take them off? Brand names mean a lot so name them.

Yeah, I just pull out a tangle of multiple crankbaits and shake the pile until one comes loose. No need to change a successful strategy.
