Can you get a poling platform for it? How shallow does it float?

So, i made it down to the beaufort area to fish over the weekend, and try out the new ride. Fishing wasnt good. lol. Seems i couldnt find the massive schools of reds that i had heard were in the area. Not sure if the dolphin ran them out or if they just changed areas in general.
As for the boat, first thing i will say is it will run shallow!!!! I was cruising down the PR Sound at about 60 when i ran up on an oyster mound! It was likely only about a foot deep! No way to dodge it and i certainly wasnt slowing down, as i knew that would spell DOOM! :) Fortunately i made it over without hitting somehow. I was a wreck after that, lol. Overall the boat gets on plane quick and runs super smooth. Calm winds over the weekend, so i didnt get to test the rough water ride.

There have been a few issues i am working to get resolved that have been a disappointment. When the boat was being rigged, the fuse was blown in the radio and the throttle control was improperly installed. It would not go into reverse. It had to be taken apart and a bracket was in wrong or something. I wasnt there, so i cant say for sure. Also, the alarm would not stop buzzing on the in dash flasher. I thought it was the shallow water alarm at first. Turns out it was just a malfunction. Had to cut the wire leading to the buzzer to make it stop. Flasher works perfectly.
Once i got to the water, i discovered the fuel gauge doesnt function along with the Atlas Jack Plate gauge. I called THMarine this morning. They recommended i re-calibrate it by loosening the L-Bracket and having someone raise and lower the engine until it starts reading numbers on the gauge. Hopefully that takes care of it. As for the fuel gauge, i am hoping Tom has a simple solution as i dont want to haul it two hours back to TN to get it working. Obviously, that is an important item.

I think i am going to love this boat once i get it up to 100%. Didnt even think to try out the livewell system while i was on the water. Usually thats the first thing i do, but i forgot this time. I heard the pumps running, so i assume its all good. I will keep adding to this thread once i get it down to the lake and get everything working. Still needing that first fish to be caught! :)

If I could find a 22SF I’d sell my boat without hesitation. I have a bit of a saltwater bug but still want a Bullet and the SF would make the family happy.

I’m sure but I’d feel much safer in the SF. Plus are the wiring etc saltwater ready? Also with my RustomLine trailer I’m not so sure I’d make it the hour home from the ocean without the trailer disintegrating. Lol

The wiring and everything else in the boat is fine but you are correct about the trailer. Need a galv or alum trailer.

I dont think so, however , there is a hole on each side of the transom at approximately the bottom of jack plate height. I assumed these were intakes of some sort. Didnt think they were scupper holes, but possibly could be.

The scupper is on the bottom of the boat. Unless they changed it or you ordered it without I'd say you have it.

Them holes are drains for the back deck if I remember right

I only added things, didnt take any out. :)

Main thing i added was the 8 rod system in each box instead of 4.
