    This!
I don't currently have one but when I upgrade I will have one because I fish Lake St. Clair here in Michigan and plan on fishing the Great Lakes more too. My marina told me it is a must for running rough water. That's not to say you can't finish it without it but it makes your life a lot easier and safer. Bob's gets my vote.

Are you putting an 8” jack plate on it?

I learned my lesson at a Triton owners tournament on KY Lake several years ago. When it gets nasty, hydraulic jack plate and 4 blade prop helps a lot in rough water.
