    Ultrex Footpedal vs Ulterra Footpedal

Are the pedals the same size? I know the Ultrex pedal will fit into recess of Ranger 521C. Don't know about the Ulterra. Thanks.

The Ulterra will not fit in a footwell. They are very flat and are made to sit flat on the deck. Until recently I only used my Ulterra remote but decided to install the pedal to see how I'd like it. Turns out to be a nice combination. I can operate the TM from anywhere on the boat with the remote but when I am on the front deck its handy to be able to adjust direction and operate spotlock using my foot. I covered my footwell with a piece of 1/8" aluminum plate and mounted the pedal with a large piece of extra strength velcro and it has never moved.

As said above, two different designed pedals. The Ultrex is more conventional and the Ulterra is more flat, longer and wider than the Ultrex.
