Check on TNBassFishing.com The local guys post and may answer your questions there. I personally don't get to fish Douglas very often but the only no wake areas I know are around public marinas and docks. I usually put in at the public ramp at Dandridge. It's right below the bridge to the right when you cross the lake. They were building a new bridge last time I was there but it should be finished by now. A lot of bass are caught in Muddy Creek area down the lake from the ramp but I like to fish around Indian Creek which is up river from the ramp. A lot of good video's on youtube about fishing Douglas.

FYI: Douglas Lake is a water storage lake for TVA, and most of their such lakes are drawn down until late Spring. I would think you will find Douglas Lake pretty low right now.

It's at winter pool right now, which is down about 40 feet. The ice is finally breaking up some. Most of the lake from the Dandridge ramp downstream is open and clear.
Y'all be careful out there and don't catch'em all!

There are several cabins for rent on the lake. All that are waterfront will have water access at that time of year.

Anybody know how the water in Douglas in now? I'm planning to come down next week but worried that all of this rain has the lake a mess.

On 2-22 it was 60° and muddy, but not terribly, 10-18 inch visibility. Lake is falling fast, but the debris wasn't a problem, only saw a couple of things floating around.
