    Engine "hiccups" then shuts off above 1400rpm

    I have a 2005 250vmax hpdi. All of a sudden, it started "hiccuping" when I was running on plane. Now, when I run above 1400 rpms, it hiccups until eventually it stalls out. Idels fine, I am making my way back to dock and it's fine as long as I stay below 1400rpms. Any help out there?

    Sounds to me like a fuel supply issue. Time to look at filters and lift pumps.
