I specifically use much heavier flurocarbon than I would preferably like to while fishing in general because I simply cant afford to keep losing baits...infact its so wild up here in canada that I experimented going from 22lb downwards to the point that I stopped losing lures all of the time.
sweet spot seems to be about 15/16lb test.
I still nearly cry every time i lose a $30 dollar bait.
Now that is a idea!!!!!! May add one small willow leaf blade to the back for some flash.
For here and does not apply to everyone else, Rouge 10 and KVD's shallow and deep for milder temps is all you need. i have a hundred or so in mixed brands but these seem to work. never do out of the box and i add dots or put on lighter hooks if needed to get the desired effect from them.
